"Come here." James Black, who was sitting by the doorway, called out to Jane Sampson.
Jane Sampson shook her head with a bun in her mouth and continued to stand there, eating the bun bite by bite, and then swallowed a gulp of water.
She wanted to drink the peanut soup.
So, should she go over or not?
Jane hesitated for a moment, but before she could make up her mind, James Black walked over, scooped her up, and carried her back to the dinner table.
Jane chuckled to herself, put up a pretense of a struggle, and then easily gave in. Holding her bowl, she happily lowered her head and started savoring her peanut soup.
"Now, can you tell me what you meant by 'terribly awful'?" James Black forcibly took the bowl away from Jane, who was holding it. Seeing her glare at him, he wasn't bothered. "If you can't give a convincing explanation, your previous answer will be considered invalid."
Is this guy annoying or what?
