Jane Sampson could understand James Black's mood. If she had specifically asked someone to call her after landing to check in and she waited anxiously for their call based on their flight's arrival time, but that wait prolonged into the evening, dinner was done, and she still hadn't received that call.
Truthfully, in such a situation, anyone would start to worry.
And when finally she made a call herself, only to learn that the other party had forgotten, even Jane Sampson would be angry.
It gave off the feeling that she wasn't on their mind, that her words were not taken seriously.
Jane Sampson held her mobile phone and pondered for a few seconds. James Carter walked over, saw her frowning face, and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Someone's angry," Jane rubbed her cheek. "He asked me to call him after I got off the plane, but I forgot. He hung up on me, very upset."
"Someone?" James Carter was confused for a few seconds before realizing, "Are you referring to someone, your husband?"
