Jane could tell the girl in the couple was super upset, so Jane thought, she didn't mind James Black's low emotional intelligence after all, since there were certainly people in this world with even lower EQ than him.
At least James knew for sure that one should never say a girl is fat, as it would make her unhappy.
"What's so funny?" James didn't understand what made Jane laugh, just a single sentence from someone could amuse her so much.
