Coco Edwards suddenly slammed on the brakes and pulled the car over to the roadside. Then she quickly turned her head to look at Jane Sampson.
"The meaning of Hibiscus Wood, could it be hinting you something?" With silent lips, Coco Edwards mouthed three words to Jane, "The person who pushed you in the mountain village?"
Jane shook her head, "I don't know."
Coco gave a loud cry, scratched her hair, then shook her head again, "This guess of mine is so far-fetched, it shouldn't be true. Doing so wouldn't benefit her."
"I was thinking the same thing," Jane nodded, her expression not much better than Coco's.
Indeed, the timing of Hibiscus Wood's attitude change and her hint about The Farmer and the Snake always led Jane to think that way, so her mood was quite chaotic that afternoon.
"I think I might be overthinking it," Coco shook her head, "No reason, no motive, and besides, you've been so good to her."
