The content of the meeting was mostly managers from various departments reporting on the recent progress of their work.
By the time the reports from several departments were complete, two hours had passed.
Steve Burton gave a brief summary of the meeting, signaled to Rusell Henris, Edward Woods, and Howard Coleman to stay behind, and then dismissed everyone else.
As soon as the meeting was adjourned, Rusell Henris immediately opened his laptop and began to work rapidly.
Edward Woods lay sprawled lazily across the table, staring at Rusell Henris, who continued to type away, and then twisted his head to look at Steve Burton, who had asked them to stay but hadn't spoken yet, "Brother, you didn't ask us to stay just to sit here doing nothing, did you?"
