The room suddenly fell weirdly silent.
"He's been waiting for me, wanting to see me," Anna Jadwin asked sorrowfully, "don't you know?"
Wayne Bailey turned his face away, looking out at the pitch-black window.
Anna Jadwin's heart ached tremendously, "You couldn't possibly not know, all the servants at The Baileys' Manor know, he's calling my name, waiting for me to return and see him!"
"..."
"Why won't you let me see him?" Anna Jadwin's tears surged once again.
From the moment he met Anna Jadwin, Raphael Bailey's life became extremely wretched.
The carefree, sunny young man was being engulfed by darkness...
She owed him too much, the most of any man!
"In your eyes, am I very selfish?" Wayne rose to his feet, his tall and indifferent figure moved to the window.
Anna Jadwin was in extreme pain, she knew Wayne Bailey wasn't like this, but she couldn't understand.
"You want to marry Charles Harrington?" his voice was unnaturally calm.
