Leo's affection and intimacy towards Anna Jadwin skyrocketed.
Seeing the little one regaining his smile, Anna Jadwin felt relieved. Nothing was more important than Leo's feelings, and as long as he was happy, she was willing to put everything else on hold for a few days.
The French-style kitchen was spacious and luxurious, with the servants dismissed and soup emanating a lovely aroma.
Wayne Bailey hadn't even walked in, but he could hear the gentle conversation.
"Leo, where did you put the little teddy bear I sent you?"
Anna Jadwin carried Leo on her back while making her specialty dish, which smelled like home.
Leo sat in the baby carrier, comfortably playing with Anna Jadwin's hair, and froze at the question.
"Did you lose it? Or did Daddy take it away again?"
Leo pursed his lips, looking crestfallen.
"It's okay, I'll make you an even cuter one, alright?"
Leo hugged Anna Jadwin tightly and gave her a kiss on her shoulder.
