The library was extraordinarily spacious and majestic, much like a cathedral, the solemn bookshelves lining its walls.
There were so many books, with such high ceilings, that the library was considered a restricted area, where servants did not clean on a regular basis...
Thick layers of dust particles filled the air.
Anna Jadwin coughed a few times, having heard from the servants that Raphael Bailey was in there, and that the door was open.
Her footsteps echoed in the vast space, "Raphael Bailey? Are you here?"
Thud, thud, thud, a few books fell one after another.
Anna hurried over to find him sitting on a dangerous, high set of stairs.
"Are you okay? Be careful... Did I startle you?" Anna ran to the foot of the stairs, "I brought you some food, come down and eat something."
"Why did you come? There's dust everywhere."
Raphael put on his white gloves, which quickly filled with dust as he descended the stairs.
