Anna Jadwin lowered her gaze, refusing to look at his face.
"Anna Jadwin, just tell me, wash or not wash?!"
If she said no, could he still force her?
Anna Jadwin's lips curved into a faint smile: "If washing makes Wayne Bailey happy, I don't mind."
Wayne Bailey's fingers clenched, wishing he could crush her.
"Don't you have any self-respect?"
Anna Jadwin laughed. Wasn't he the one crushing her self-respect? Once she yearned for it, but now she didn't even want her life. What use was self-respect?!
Anna Jadwin removed his hand, lowered her face, and continued washing his feet.
Her Sapphire ring soaked in water… emitting a warm glow…
Anna Jadwin was not silly enough to wash Cathy Xavier's, even if she was killed, she couldn't bring herself to wash another woman's feet.
But seeing Cathy Xavier's delicate foot resting on Wayne Bailey's instep, she couldn't help but think of Wayne holding her in his arms, his strong arms encircling her as they soaked their feet together.
