Cathy Xavier was holding a thermos and an exquisite fruit basket, dressed in a coat.
These two women had never faced each other like this before.
Anna Jadwin was a bit flustered for a moment. Were they forced to be husband and wife and staying at a hotel? And she, as a third party, dare to live at The Baileys' Manor?
Seeing Anna Jadwin, Cathy Xavier hesitated slightly, then smiled: "Hello."
It was as if she hadn't noticed that Anna Jadwin's face looked just like hers.
Anna Jadwin steadied herself, smiling and nodded graciously, responding: "Good evening."
"Wayne, are you entertaining a guest? If it's inconvenient, I will step aside." Cathy Xavier tactfully asked.
Wayne Bailey clenched his handsome jaw, and his cold gaze swept over: "Where to step aside?"
With just one sentence, Cathy Xavier understood.
Wilfred stepped forward to take the fruit basket.
Cathy Xavier went to the other side of the bed, opened the lid of the thermos, and a rich aroma of soup wafted out.
