Wayne Bailey looked at her anxious face, his heart warming up: "What's the problem?"
"I'm asking you, has the fever been going on for days, or just these two days?"
"Just these two days."
The Baileys' Manor had just hosted a birthday party for the old man, so there were plenty of miscellaneous matters to attend to. Besides, Wayne Bailey had been neglecting work as he was wrapped up with Anna Jadwin. Now he had to deal with the backlog of work in the company, and in the midst of this, he started feeling feverish and didn't have time to take care of it.
"Have you seen a doctor for an injection or medication, or had a diagnosis of the illness?" Anna Jadwin grabbed his sleeve, lowering her voice, never having felt so desperate before.
"I've never needed injections or medication to recover from a sickness. My body... Haven't you experienced it in bed?" He smirked with a hoarse voice, his eyes wicked, "Three hours of charging, lasting a whole day."
