Wayne Bailey leaned over her shoulder and stared deeply into her eyes, "Say it again!"
"A woman's jealousy and possessiveness can be very strong," Anna Jadwin raised her face, looking seriously at him, "I like novelty, just like clothes; they're just one piece in the wardrobe. When they go out of season, I don't want to wear them anymore, but when I see other women wearing them, I still feel uncomfortable! Mr. Bailey is very clever, so I don't need to explain such simple logic, do I?"
Wayne Bailey clenched his teeth, wishing he could just get her drunk and never let her wake up!
"Anna Jadwin, you clearly like me!"
"I didn't say I liked you, did I?" Otherwise, he would have brought it up first, instead of trying to test her in various ways to prove it.
"At the very least, I have a place in your heart!"
"So what if you do? There are so many men in my heart... it doesn't mean much if you occupy a place."
