Wayne Bailey's eyes filled with a whirlpool-like anger, while Candice watched in amusement, expecting him to slap her again.
Anna Jadwin also thought he was going to hit her and prepared herself for a desperate struggle.
"Mr. Bailey," a servant hurried over, "Young Master refuses to eat again and is smashing things in his room!"
"Then let him go hungry for a day!"
"Wayne Bailey, what gives you the right?" Anna Jadwin yelled. "You've locked him up for days and won't even feed him? You're the worst man in the world!"
Wayne's pupils constricted.
Was she accusing him for Raphael Bailey's sake? Had she forgotten why he was locked up in the first place?
Raphael would not eat, and she was worried and distressed, but he had also gone without food all day — had she shown concern for him?
