Anna Jadwin hid downstairs and played with Ivy and Leo all morning. It had been a long time since she had accompanied the two little ones.
When Wayne Bailey came downstairs, Anna Jadwin turned her face away, pretending not to see him.
"Daddy," Leo honestly called out.
"Daddy!" Ivy also obediently exclaimed.
The two little ones crowded around Anna Jadwin and continued playing, but that woman kept her head down, never looking at him.
A surge of frustration built up in Wayne Bailey's heart. Had he frightened her?
He was not a man driven by lust, but he was a man!
Since he had fallen for Anna Jadwin, how many times had he had his "meat"? And she still planned to keep him from it for a lifetime...
"Young Master, lunch is ready. Are you heading out?" Moana asked diligently.
Wayne Bailey let out a sardonic laugh, "I'm afraid some people don't want to see me!"
Leo was startled and covered his small mouth, "Baby didn't say that out loud!"
