Philip Shaw asked a few more questions about Eric Candi and Aldana Candi's daily interactions; after he finished, his face ashen, he stood up from his seat, walked out the door, and stood on the threshold smoking a gloomy cigarette.
It made him very uncomfortable that Aldana Candi disliked him so much, yet got along so well with Eric Candi, who had hurt her in the same way.
Furrowing his brows, he smoked half a cigarette outside the door, when a female bodyguard came out holding the bowl of leftovers from Fru Fru's meal. Seeing Philip Shaw, she said in a low voice, "Young Master Shaw, the little miss has finished eating."
Philip Shaw nodded, then said, "Have the chef prepare steak for her tomorrow."
The female bodyguard paused, recalling how just earlier Philip Shaw was complaining about Fru Fru being picky, and now he was unexpectedly ordering steak for her.
She responded, "I'll go tell the chef in a bit."
