Maple Swallow sighed again, "Alright. It was my fault back then; I shouldn't have kept the tracker a secret from you."
It was indeed his fault for scheming against her in the first place.
Norris Moore's fingers slowly twirled around the coffee cup, her face bearing a faint smile, "Back then, you forced him to do things he didn't want to do, nearly beat him to death, and forced me to leave him. Now that you've gotten what you wanted and realized it's not as you expected, you ask for my help. Maple Swallow, don't you think it's absurd for you to ask me to discuss this matter today?"
"You want me to bear his hatred towards me and now you want me to dissolve his hatred towards you as well. Do you think that's fair to me?"
