Rose strolled through the vast garden with Norris Moore, subtly recalling the way Trenton Smith had just interacted with Norris.
It was the first time in these three years that Trenton had shown such gentleness.
Besides Miss White, Norris was only the second young woman to appear by Trenton's side.
"Miss Moore, are you very close with our boss?" Rose asked as she poured a glass of fruit juice for Norris, gossiping with her.
Norris took a sip of apple juice, then smiled and said in a casual tone, "I'm his cousin."
Upon hearing this, Rose paused slightly, obviously not expecting this answer.
Her usually sharp and quick mind momentarily seized up. Watching Rose's blank expression, Norris couldn't help but smile. She didn't say anything more and simply followed Rose around, calmly sipping her juice.

In the hotel lobby, Angela Banks handed a glass of orange juice to Sherry White: "Sherry, this orange juice tastes really good. Why don't you let Mr. Smith try some?"
