"Thank you so much for the wine," she said gratefully. Securing the cooperation with that bar made financing the orphanage much more manageable.
Norris Moore smiled, her eyes curving: "It has nothing to do with me, Frank is just kind."
The kind-faced headmistress smiled and watched the children in the courtyard together with her.
A moment later, she asked, "When do you plan to go back?"
Norris Moore paused briefly and turned to look at the headmistress.
"I'm not trying to rush you away," the headmistress said smiling, "You're welcome to stay here if you like, I'd be more than happy. But... there must be important people waiting for you, right? When do you plan to visit them?"
Norris Moore's gaze moved from the children to the headmistress's face.
The affectionate and caring smile on the headmistress's face was very considerate.
Norris Moore smiled somewhat helplessly, "I'm not ready yet."
