Norris Moore noticeably felt that Trenton Smith was slightly stunned.
A moment later, he leaned back, raised his hand to shield his eyes, and let out a soft laugh.
Norris Moore watched him, somewhat helplessly, "I..."
Trenton Smith reached out to her, gripped her wrist tightly, and pulled her into his embrace.
Then he lifted his hand, pinched her chin, and forced her to look up at his face.
The corners of his lips still held faint traces of his recent laughter, but his eyes were as cold as if frosted over. He watched her with that low laugh and then asked, "Norris Moore, how come I didn't know your heart was so big?"
"Not only can it fit me, but another woman as well? When she and I have a child together, will you also call yourself the godmother?"
His voice was full of sarcasm.
Norris Moore looked at him, her mouth opening and closing, but she couldn't utter a single word.
He looked so disappointed, devastatingly so.
