Trenton Smith entered the kitchen and watched as Norris Moore skillfully turned on the gas stove.
Her kitchen was neat and tidy due to the lack of use, looking as good as new.
He walked over and stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin in the crook of her shoulder.
Norris was cooking below, and Trenton's chin pressed hard against her shoulder, tickling her a bit. She laughed and turned her head to the man, "What are you doing? Go wait in the dining room, it'll be ready soon."
Trenton looked down at the clear soup noodles Norris was cooking, "You're just going to feed me this?"
"Noodles can be delicious too," she said.
Trenton said no more, just holding her and watching her cook the noodles.
It seemed that in this life, the only thing Norris was adept at was cooking noodles; he couldn't have any other expectations of her.
