The kidnapper had locked her in the room again and left by himself.
Norris Moore sat on the bed for a long while, reluctantly raising her hand to remove the blindfold from her eyes. She felt that the person must be Trenton Smith, but the sense of incongruity was so strong. What kind of godforsaken place is this, and how could Trenton Smith possibly be here? And what had he done to her? For someone who was so particular about cleanliness, how could he leave her in such a disheveled state?
Norris struggled for a while, exhausting a great deal of effort, but still couldn't remove the blindfold from her eyes.
The lock was very tight. She tried to insert her finger into the gap to pry it open but couldn't find any crevice, and it only caused her temples to ache from the tightness.
