When she was taking the elevator downstairs, she ran into Trenton Smith who was also on the elevator.
The man was dressed in a grey slim-fit trench coat, with a neatly ironed white shirt underneath, leaning against the elevator wall, oozing charm.
Upon seeing him inside, Norris Moore's steps instinctively paused briefly before she was pulled into the elevator by Rufus Swallow.
She stood next to Rufus, Trenton was behind her. Not sure whether it was because her nose was too sensitive, a familiar smell of cologne permeated the air and quickly filled her senses. It was a lingering scent that she could never fully wash off, no matter how much bathing gel she used.
She frowned slightly.
"What's wrong?"
Rufus glanced down at her.
"I'm a bit hungry."
Rufus chuckled and stroked her hair gently. "The restaurant is nearby. We can take the elevator there. No need to rush."
