His eyes darkened a little, passively withdrawing his gaze, only to hear Zelda introducing, "This is Rufus's girlfriend, and it seems she's a star. Do you know her?"
Norris Moore stood beside him, gracefully holding onto Rufus's arm. Upon hearing Zelda's words, she felt Trenton's gaze slowly sweeping over her. She lifted her head and met Trenton's deeply colored eyes.
He stared at her unabashedly, his eyes empty of emotion, or perhaps well-hidden. His deep gaze was all that was visible.
"I recognize her." Trenton replied indifferently.
Norris was slightly surprised, she had assumed Trenton would say he didn't know her.
After all, since they broke up, his attitude towards her had been like a stranger's.
She smiled, responding distantly, "Maybe you've seen me on TV."
Rufus draped his arm around Norris's shoulder affectionately, "Indeed. Our Norris is quite a big star."
