Norris Moore sat in a chair, watching Liam Swallow and Trenton Smith approach from a distance.
Rufus Swallow asked her from the side, "Do you want some seafood?"
Norris withdrew her gaze, nodded and watched Rufus cut crab meat into her plate.
Liam Swallow and Trenton Smith sat not far away. Watching Rufus and Norris interact gave Liam a headache.
He was somewhat fatigued.
Trenton, however, seemed calm. He took a sip of barley tea and said, "If you keep staring at Rufus and Norris like this, even if Norris doesn't suspect anything, Rufus will catch on."
Rufus turned his head and glanced over at Liam's table, a hint of strangeness in his blue eyes.
Liam let out a low sigh without saying anything.
Trenton remained cool.
The Swallows were all sharp-minded people, and Rufus was no fool either.
He might have sensed something but could not confirm it.
