Trenton Smith nodded and glanced at her wrist, wrapped in a bandage. He asked softly, "Is your condition still unstable?"
"It's much better now. Angela has been with me all this time." Sherry White shyly smiled. "Actually, you didn't have to fly all the way from the United Kingdom to see me. It's enough that she's here."
"She does seem genuinely concerned about you."
Sherry smiled and said, "Angela is indeed very good to me."
Trenton just hummed in response, then turned his head and looked outside.
"Miss Moore should be at the shooting site now." Sherry whispered, "It hasn't started yet, so you can go and have a chat with her."
Trenton returned his gaze, lowered his head, and lit a cigarette, his expression somewhat bleak and melancholic.
"Did you have a fight with Miss Moore?" Sherry had no idea Trenton had broken up with Norris Moore. She cautiously asked, "Will it make her angry that you came to see me now?"
Trenton didn't respond, but just looked towards the door.
