Why did it take so long to say hello?
Norris couldn't understand and couldn't figure it out.
On the way back, Rufus Swallow carried an assortment of agricultural products, and the carp was kept in a basin for red-braised carp the next day. He put fresh taro and a small basket of edamame in the fridge.
The setting sun slowly descended outside the window, and the small town gradually quieted down, with the laughter of children returning from school echoing outside the door.
Norris sat on the sofa, gazing peacefully out of the front door. Rufus Swallow walked out of the kitchen and looked over at Norris not far away.
A faint golden sunset shone on her face, revealing the tiny hairs there. Dust floated in the air and wavered with the breeze, creating a serene and beautiful scene.
Rufus Swallow walked over and sat next to Norris. "Do you like it here?" he asked.
Norris nodded.
Rufus Swallow smiled. "I'll give you a key so you can come and stay more often."
