Norris Moore went home, and pulled a suitcase from under her bed. She opened her wardrobe, looked for a moment, then tossed several sets of pajamas and dresses into the suitcase.
Then she moved on to the dressing table, opened the drawers, took out her passport, and threw it into the suitcase.
After doing all this, she picked up the suitcase, weighed it in her hand, and thought it was fine. She picked up the suitcase and headed out.
Rufus Swallow, having just walked upstairs from below, was passing by Norris. He stopped in surprise, asked, "Where are you going?"
"In a bad mood. Going overseas to unwind." She didn't stop her steps, responding casually, "Leaving in the afternoon. Tell Ava there's no need to come cook dinner tonight."
Rufus caught up and grasped her suitcase handle. He looked at Norris, her face pale, then asked, "What's really going on?"
