If it wasn't for the fact that Liam Swallow was deeply in love with Olivia Baker and had been for over two decades, he would have genuinely feared that Liam had taken a fancy to Norris Moore too, given his close behavior towards her now.
At that thought, Trenton Smith felt a sting of jealousy and grumbled under his breath: "Little troublemaker."
Norris Moore rolled her eyes at him: "Why are you cursing me?"
Trenton Smith chuckled, tousled her hair, and when they arrived at the hotel entrance, he took off his suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders. Then, arm in arm, they headed towards the parking lot.
From a distance, Liam Swallow watched as Trenton Smith and Norris Moore left, their gestures intimate. His brows furrowed as he retracted his gaze and, at the table where Norris had been sitting, he found a strand of hair.
After hesitating for a moment, he reached out to pick up the long, thin hair strand, slightly pursed his lips, and placed it in his glasses case.
