Tilly Flower blinked in surprise, then smiled and said, "You're right." She looked at Trenton's composed and elegant face. He wore his usual calm expression, but there was indeed a hint of deep affection. She had always thought that Trenton's emotions were too shallow, consistently lukewarm, and that he might not care much for Norris Moore because he was too confident. Now she thought about it, with this man's cold and indifferent disposition, it would be improbable for him to put this much effort into coming back from the United Kingdom to find Norris if he didn't care.
But does Trenton understand how deep his feelings are?
