Norris Moore rushed out of the car and looked at Eric Candi holding Aldana Candi. She sneered angrily, "What's the use of taking her away now? If only you had invested a little more effort back then, Aldana wouldn't be ruined to this extent! Men like you disdain those who treat you well, but cling desperately when you're not wanted. You just can't stand to see her doing well, can you?"
Eric's rebellious and cold face remained indifferent. He stared faintly at Norris, his tone emotionless, "And on what grounds are you speaking to me now? Get lost, or I'll kill you."
A touch of maliciousness and killing intent seeped through his words.
"Eric." Aldana, who had been quiet in his arms, finally spoke.
Eric lowered his eyes and gazed at her calm, gentle face without uttering a word.
"Let me down," Aldana said, her voice as soft and tender as before. "You don't have to trouble yourself with this matter. Norris will take care of me. Let me down."
