When Norris Moore woke up, it was already past three in the afternoon.
"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
A cool male voice sounded not far away, and Norris Moore turned her head to look at the man standing next to the bed. She slightly furrowed her brows and touched her flat belly with her fingers.
She remembered that when she left, there was suddenly a sharp pain inside her, and before she fainted, warm blood seemed to flow out.
Trenton Smith said indifferently, "The baby is still there. You were too emotional, and you almost had a miscarriage."
"..." Norris Moore pursed her lips and then looked up at Trenton Smith.
His expression was still as composed as ever, not showing any unnecessary emotions. It was always like this; he never seemed flustered, as if everything was under his control and came effortlessly to him.
He knew about the baby now.
No surprise on his face.
Maybe he had known about it long ago, hadn't he?
