Alex Miller turned his head, noticing Norris Moore staring at him, he extinguished his cigarette and handed over the cup of ginger tea from the coffee table to her, "Drink it while it's hot."
Norris extended her hand to take it, sipping the tea while lowering her head.
Evelyn Miller's pajamas on her were slightly oversized, Alex adjusted the collar for her, then guided her to sit on the sofa and dried her hair.
Norris lazily squinted her eyes, feeling the warm air on her scalp, the steam rising from the ginger tea blurred her sight. She felt relaxed and too comfortable to move.
When her hair was dry, Alex switched off the hair dryer and handed her two cold tablets, "Just to prevent."
Norris sat half leaning on the sofa, still holding the cup of ginger tea. Hot steam spread on her face, her expression somewhat unclear. In a plain voice, she said, "Alex, I'm pregnant."
