She sat on the bed for a while, then got up and washed her face in the bathroom, dazed from being awakened by the thunder.
When the servant downstairs saw Norris coming down in a thin nightgown, they hurriedly draped a shawl over her, "Miss Moore, the weather is getting colder, please wear an extra layer when coming downstairs."
There was no rain yet, just thunder, and lightning. The air was humid and stuffy, making her uncomfortable.
"Where is Trenton Smith?" she casually asked.
"Mr. Smith drove out not long ago; we don't know his exact destination."
Norris did not really care where Trenton had gone; it must be to the company, after all, although he spent time with her every day, he was still very busy.
She had a glass of hot water on the sofa, then went back to her room to rest.
