Norris Moore poured out a pill from the bottle, and just as she was about to swallow it with water, a hand reached over from behind and clamped onto her wrist.
She jumped in fright and saw the contraceptive pill being taken from her palm and thrown into the trash. Norris turned her head and looked up. Trenton Smith's eyes were unfathomably dark and deep under the dim light, making her somewhat annoyed as he stared at her like that. Lowering her head, she pursed her lips and forced a smile, asking, "Why did you get up?"
Trenton slowly raised his hand to brush her lips and softly pinched her chin as he said, "Norris, I thought I'd made myself very clear."
Norris's face showed a hint of tormented struggle due to his words, as if she was trying to suppress something. She took a shallow breath and reluctantly said, "Can we not do this? It's not good for either of us to get pregnant now. Can we not think about having children while we're together?"
