The next day, Norris Moore woke up very early.
When the nanny came downstairs, she was already dressed neatly, sitting on the living room sofa watching the morning news.
Seeing her, the nanny greeted her with a smile: "Miss Moore, you're up so early today."
Norris smiled gently: "Yes. After breakfast, I'll take Elias and Guoguo to school."
"Okay." The nanny nodded and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.
At six-thirty, Norris turned off the TV, went upstairs to wake up Guoguo, dressed her, and then took her into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.
Guoguo clung to her neck, her mouth smelling of peach-flavored toothpaste, and gave Norris a kiss on the cheek, her voice sweet and soft: "Good morning, Mommy."
Norris looked at Guoguo's little face, smiled, and patted her head: "Good morning, Guoguo."
Norris carried Guoguo downstairs.
