Norris Moore just felt her stomach churning. She was in a daze, almost unable to hear Ava's cries. It felt as if her brain was being pricked by a needle, yet the image imprinted on her retina was incredibly clear, so clear that her eyes began to hurt.
Blurred lights, a body covered with kiss marks... Norris Moore fell to the ground. Kneeling there, she vomited again. She hadn't eaten much; she had just vomited earlier, so now she was only throwing up stomach acid. But she still felt nauseous, so nauseous that she wished to vomit out her entire stomach. This heart-wrenching and nauseating feeling was driving her to the brink of collapse.
