Trenton Smith sat on the bed, watching her walk in from outside the door.
Norris was holding a glass of water and a box of fever-reducing medicine. She came over, placed the glass on the bedside table, and put the medicine in his hand, calmly saying, "Take it."
Trenton looked at her, then withdrew his gaze, took the medicine, bowed his head, and swallowed it with a sip of water.
Norris watched his movements, slightly relieved.
She stood up from the bed and said to Trenton, "Take the medicine and get some rest." She paused, then continued, "I called Maple Swallow, he should be here soon."
Trenton's pupils slowly contracted as he looked at Norris and asked, "Are you in such a hurry to get rid of me?"
"You're sick, so isn't it right to call your family to take care of you?" Her tone was flat and quiet, "I don't have any particularly good fever medicine here, your brother will take you to the hospital. Get some rest while he's not here yet."
