Trenton Smith placed the cup of hot tea back on the coffee table, looking at her and calmly saying, "No."
Norris Moore chuckled, her tone verging on boredom: "This isn't about if you want or not, Trenton Smith. The decision is mine, do you understand that?" She reached out to take Ava's cup of tea, bowed her head and slowly sipped. The warm tea nourished her cold stomach. She closed her eyes and leaned on the sofa in silence for a while, then said, "Once the rain stops, I'll leave. Is that clear?"
Trenton Smith looked at her, "Norris Moore, tell me, what should I do?"
"Take good care of Miss White. Don't bother me in the future. That would be nice enough." She gave a plain and indifferent smile, her demeanor a nonchalant combination of cold indifference and apathy. She lowered her head to take another sip of tea, and murmured, "Consider it me dumping you, I'm tired of you, okay? Don't show up in front of me again, you really annoy me."
Her words were close to ruthless.
