Ava probably didn't know what was going on between her and Trenton Smith and might even think she was just having a tantrum with him, since she was always hot-tempered.
But when she ran into trouble, Ava, without asking, took her side anyway.
Trenton Smith casually glanced at Ava and said coldly, "Move."
"Mr. Smith!" Ava, being stared at by him coldly, turned pale, clearly terrified, but insisted on standing in front of Norris Moore and refusing to leave. "Sister Moore is really tired today. Whatever you have to say can wait. We have to get home."
Trenton Smith stood there unmoving, just looking up at Norris Moore, who was standing in front of Ava.
She was wearing a white dress, her long hair draped over her shoulders, her expression slightly casually languid, her lips carrying a faint but discernible smile as she looked at him.
She seemed completely emotionless.
His eyes darkened slightly, he said to Ava again, "Move."
His voice had taken on a hint of threat.
