Rufus Swallow couldn't help but laugh, "I spoil Norris, and it seems like Third Brother has some opinions."
"Whose woman is she that it's even your turn to pamper her?"
"Third Brother, who do you think Norris belongs to?"
The two brothers' sarcastic words flew back and forth, filled with hidden meanings.
Norris Moore, with one hand supporting her face and appearing bored, ate the steak Rufus had cut for her, seemingly uninterested and even disdainful of their conversation.
Sherry White sat there with an uneasy look, her deer-like eyes pleading for help from Norris Moore. Norris glanced at her and smiled, casually saying, "You just eat, don't mind them."
Sherry White ate with restraint, holding her knife and fork.
Norris took a sip of her drink and whispered to Rufus, "I'm going to the restroom."
Rufus looked at her, "Shall I accompany you?"
Norris smiled, patted him on the shoulder, and shook her head.
She got up and left the private room.
