Trenton Smith took the towel from her hands and moved to help Norris Moore up from the bed, "Don't worry about it. I will change her. I'll have Philip Shaw drive you home. It's getting late. Thank you for your help today."
He was very polite.
His tone was distant.
Secretary Lindsay watched as he carefully cradled Norris Moore in his arms, gently wiping her body with the warm towel. When he bowed his head, from her perspective, she could see the contour of his face.
There was a faint sense of tenderness.
Philip Shaw walked in and gave her a smile, "Let me drive you home. Working as Trenton's secretary is quite challenging, isn't it? Even in the middle of the night, you're needed to handle a myriad of issues."
Trenton Smith glanced at him, and Philip Shaw, with a light laugh,retraced his steps.
Secretary Lindsay, feeling a bit awkward, said to Trenton Smith, "President Smith, I'll be leaving first."
