The crisp sound of fabric tearing caused Norris Moore's smile to stiffen slightly. She looked at the man's menacing expression, a flicker of fear flashed in her eyes. She raised her hand to protect the torn neckline and pursed her lips, lowering her voice: "This is a public place, Trenton Smith, calm down."
The man's gaze wandered over the marks on her neck. He didn't know how long they had been entangled outside before he came out, but the red marks trailing from behind her ear down to her collarbone only made his pupils deepen, swirling with an oncoming storm.
Norris watched his face, biting her lip, and abruptly pushed him away before running outside. Alarm bells rang in her head, sensing that if she continued to stay, Trenton would not let her off easy.
