"Brother-in-law hasn't visited Elias for a long time." There has been a drastic change in the family, but Elias was too young to realize. Holding onto Trenton Smith's neck, the child complained in a soft, aggrieved voice.
"Yeah, he's been quite busy with work."
Norris Moore sneered upon hearing this. She walked over to Trenton and said, "Give Elias to me. He hasn't finished his meal yet."
Trenton's gaze fell on her face, but Norris didn't look at him. Her expression was somewhat cold.
"Sister Norris, Elias can eat by himself. Go and have fun with brother-in-law."
As Elias struggled out of Trenton's arms, Norris' brow furrowed slightly. In fact, she didn't want to show her resentment and disgust toward Trenton in front of Elias. She bent down to pick Elias up from the floor, and heard him ask softly in her ear, "Did Sister Norris have a fight with brother-in-law?"
