Norris Moore was almost amused by his outburst: "Trenton Smith, what the hell got into you tonight?"
She tried to push him away to get the birth control pills from the dresser, but he hugged her from behind and lowered his head to rest on her shoulder, asking calmly, "Are you so unwilling to have a child for me?"
Norris looked at her hand held tightly in his grip, his strength too great for her to break free. She raised her head and looked at the birth control pills on the distant dresser, her voice trembling involuntarily: "Do you want to treat me the same way Norton Foster treated Amelia?"
Trenton slightly tightened his arms and said indifferently, "Why not?"
"So, you want me to jump off the building, too?" She turned her head slightly to look at him, her eyes reddening. She smiled slowly and looked at the man's face, "Do you hate me that much, Trenton Smith?"
