The bullet penetrated his chest, and the blood quickly spread across his white shirt. Trenton Smith slowly withdrew his pistol, locked eyes with Rufus Swallow, then straightened up and turned to walk away.
He walked over and picked up Norris Moore from Philip Shaw's arms. Philip glanced hesitantly at Rufus who had fallen to the ground and asked, "Just leave him here?" This wouldn't be right, they were brothers after all...
Trenton lowered his gaze to Norris' face. There was a fresh wound on her forehead, still bleeding. His eyes darkened as he coldly said, "Let him die!"
Philip sighed, followed Trenton's luxurious stride, and couldn't help but take another look at Rufus, lying in a pool of blood.
He was...still smiling.
His icy blue eyes gazed in their direction. The blood oozing from his mouth stained half of his face, making his pure and innocent face resemble a malevolent apparition and sent chills down people's spines.
This man...really wasn't normal.
