"I don't know any Mr. Smith." She shook off his hand, "You've got the wrong person."
"Miss Moore," he said with a helpless smile, "don't make me uncomfortable. As President Smith's secretary, I'm just an employee."
"You're making me uncomfortable now." Norris's face tightened, "Tell Trenton Smith that I'm not very familiar with him and don't bother me."
"Miss Moore, if you refuse to cooperate, we may have to take some aggressive measures."
For the first time, Norris saw someone who seemed so apologetic about making threats.
She looked at the young man's face, filled with a remorseful expression, as if he really felt sorry for her.
She stepped back as several men got out of the car. Norris stopped in her tracks, biting her lip and frowning at them.
She had an ominous feeling in her heart.
It made her very reluctant to meet Trenton Smith.
