"In your office."
Trenton Smith nodded and began to walk into the elevator.
...
When he opened the door, he saw Norris Moore sitting upright on the sofa. He casually closed the door, glanced at her, and walked over to his office chair:" You asked me not to come looking for you, so you've taken the initiative to come see me. Is that your caprice, Miss Moore?"
Norris didn't respond to his sarcastic tone, instead walking over to place a bank card on his desk.
Trenton glanced at it: "What's this?"
"There's five hundred thousand in there." Norris said quietly.
He smirked incredulously: "Did you owe me money before?"
Norris responded indifferently: "You could say that."
During the two months she had lived with him, the medical expenses for Elias and Luke Moore were all paid by him.
Now that she had returned the money, it seemed they no longer had any obligations to each other.
Trenton Smith took the bank card and played it thoughtfully in his hand.
