In the end, Trenton Smith and Norris Moore managed to have dinner peacefully.
After dinner, Norris went upstairs to take a bath alone.
She sat on the couch, drying her hair with a hairdryer, when the maid came in carrying dry clothes, which she put in the closet.
Hesitant, she finally approached Norris and said, "Miss Moore, there's something I don't know whether I should say or not."
"If you know it's inappropriate to say, then don't say it."
The maid: "..."
"Mr. Smith was very worried about you when he couldn't find you this afternoon."
"Really."
"He looked for you all afternoon."
...
Norris turned off the hairdryer, tilted her head, and smiled, "What was he worried about? Was he afraid I would commit suicide?"
The maid was at a loss for words. She turned her head and saw Trenton Smith coming in from the door. She pursed her lips in awkwardness and quickly bowed her head, leaving the room.
