The butler eyed his countenance, retreating to one side without making a sound.
Trenton Smith finished his breakfast, and then calmly instructed, "When she wakes up, give her the medicine. If her fever does not subside, take her to the hospital."
The butler murmured his acknowledgment, "Yes."
Trenton Smith got up, donned his coat, and then left.
The butler watched his retreating figure, then slowly heaved a sigh.
This household, I fear, will not know peace in the future.

The butler pushed the door open and found Norris Moore sitting on the edge of the bed, her head down in a daze.
As he approached, he noticed she was clutching the broken cellphone in her hand. Her expression was blank, but her eyes concealed a deep sorrow.
The butler thought she was upset about her broken phone, and comforted her saying, "Miss Moore, let's buy you a new phone when we go to the hospital later." Seeing her pallid face, he asked gently, "Are you feeling better now?"
