Trenton Smith looked up from his iPad and watched Norris happily put one of the cake boxes in the fridge.
Today, she was wearing a dress with ruffled edges, no makeup, looking particularly neat and refreshing.
He watched Norris come back and sit next to him, turned on the TV, and held the cake while watching the drama and eating it with a small fork.
She appeared very composed, very well-behaved, and very obedient.
Trenton stood up from the couch and went upstairs.
Norris raised her head, somewhat puzzled, and watched Trenton's retreating figure.
She wasn't sure if it was her imagination, but it seemed like Trenton's mood had taken a turn for the worse. Although his facial expression remained neutral.
